A Signature Space by Arashida

Where Language Meets Colour

One of the most distinctive features of Lusa’s atmosphere is the visual identity designed by Arashida, a Lisbon-based artist who brought warmth, movement, and personality into the school’s recent space renovation.

Learning Flows Through Every Wall

Rather than treating the physical space as something purely functional, Arashida imagined the school as a living canvas. Her use of fluid, organic shapes and vibrant colour was not only decorative – it captured the inclusive, open spirit of Lusa itself. Today, these shapes move across the walls, connecting classrooms, hallways, and common areas, turning each corner of the school into a shared expression of creativity
and belonging.

Portuguese contemporary art for cultural immersion at Lusa Language School

Cultural Immersion Through Portuguese Contemporary Art

In our school we believe that history and heritage, which we promote through our social activities, can be essential to learning a new language. Yet it is contemporary art that can offer a glimpse into present-day cultural identities and provide a better understanding of today’s society. By promoting local artists from the lusophone world (Portugal, Cabo Verde …), we wish to bring attention to the variety and richness of the artistic voices of modern Portugal.
